MEET YOUR ZEN GUIDE
I’m Dr. Julia King. I’m a psychologist and a yoga teacher with an integrated mind-body approach to helping others remove the limits anxiety has placed on their lives.
I have an action-oriented, practical, skills-based approach. I provide education. And, I help my clients – and now you, my students! – to understand how your thoughts and behavior affect how you feel, and therefore why you feel the way you do.
Then, we can use that information to feel empowered. We feel less afraid — and more equipped to tackle challenges in our way — when we understand what is going on.
And, the tools and strategies I provide for you to practice in the day-to-day reality of life allow you to develop skills and confidence, so you can begin to believe you are strong enough for anything, and to achieve your biggest dreams.

But, in Anxiety to Zen, we go deeper into this material and you’ll be provided with three means of support.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
5 weeks of Live Group Coaching Sessions
You’ll have opportunities to discuss and explore this material over the course of five weekly group coaching sessions with Dr. King via Zoom. In these sessions, you’ll have opportunities to ask questions, to get clarification on the material, to receive additional education, strategies and next steps, to talk through your efforts to practice it, and to benefit from others’ stories and experiences as they walk the same path.
And, if you can’t attend live, or are uncomfortable to engage Live in the group session, you’ll have an opportunity to submit questions beforehand and the session will be recorded and made available for you to review it when it’s convenient for you.
Group Coaching Sessions will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm EDT on Wednesdays from April 6th through May 4th.
Office Hours
You’ll also have opportunities to pose additional questions for clarification via Voxer, a free voice messaging app, directly to Dr. Julia King during Office Hours.
Dr. King will be available for Office Hours from 2:00pm to 4:00pm EDT on Fridays from April 8th through May 6th.
Accountability Pods
You will have the option to get matched with other students into Pods for support, accountability, and a shared experience as you make your way through the material together.
You’ll be asked when you sign up if you’d like to participate in a Pod. You’ll be matched into Pods based on your time zone and hours of availability for calls to ensure you can connect with other students regularly.

FAQ
+ What are the dates for Anxiety to Zen?
Anxiety to Zen will be offered from Monday, April 4th through Friday, May 6th.
+ How many students will be accepted?
Anxiety to Zen is mindfully and intentionally limited to 25 students, to allow for all students’ questions to be answered and for an appropriate level of support to be provided.
+ When will the coaching sessions take place?
Group Coaching Sessions will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm EDT on Wednesdays from April 6th through May 4th via Zoom.
+ How will the coaching calls be structured?
Coaching sessions will take place live, on video, via Zoom.
Dr. King will be on video. Video is optional for participants. If you choose to speak Live in the session, video will be encouraged.
Your active participation in group coaching sessions is also optional. You will be not required to speak in session. You will have the option to submit questions ahead of time, or you can submit questions during the session via the chat rather than go live on video.
These Q&A sessions begin with Dr. King responding to questions that have been submitted prior to the start of the session. And, if time allows, questions may be able to be submitted during the Live session as well.
The sessions will conclude with additional education and instruction, beyond what is offered in the ‘How To Stop Feeling Anxious’ Masterclass, and a preview of what’s to come the following week!
+ What if I can’t attend live?
If you can’t attend live, or are uncomfortable to engage live in the group session, you’ll have an opportunity to submit questions beforehand, and all sessions will be recorded and distributed to all program participants.
+ How do Office Hours work?
Office Hours are, in addition to Group Coaching Sessions, an opportunity to pose questions and obtain clarification from Dr. King! She will be available to respond to your questions via Voxer, a free voice messaging app, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm EDT on Fridays from April 8th through May 6th.
+ How will the Accountability Pods work?
The Accountability Pods are optional. Should you choose to participate in a Pod, you’ll be matched into your Pod based on your time zone and hours of availability to ensure you can meet with your small group of fellow students regularly.
Research clearly suggests that creating a shared experience and connecting with other people who are going through similar experiences facilitates growth! It is immensely beneficial to hear others’ experiences, to hear your own thoughts come out of other people’s mouths so you know you’re not alone, and to workshop skills and strategies with others.
If you choose to join Anxiety to Zen, I truly hope you participate in a Pod!
One caveat: It is important to note that no Pod activity will be facilitated, supervised, or overseen by Dr. King. This is your time to explore and process this information outside of Group Coaching Sessions and Office Hours.
+ Who is Anxiety to Zen for?
Although this program targets the experience of “anxiety,” as indicated in the title ‘Anxiety to Zen,’ that term is being used very broadly, to describe a wide range of experiences, including worry, overwhelm, stress, fear, and dread rather than any specific clinical diagnoses (e.g., Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Illness Anxiety Disorder, phobias).
In fact, many people who experience “anxiety,” and who will benefit from this program may very well not have anxiety symptoms that rise to the level of a clinical disorder.
So, Anxiety to Zen, therefore, is for people who feel:
limited, hijacked, unable to do what they want, go where they want, live how they want due to fears or worries

+ Who is Anxiety to Zen not for?
No program can be right for absolutely everyone. And, it’s important to note that Anxiety to Zen is not appropriate for every person struggling with anxiety.
Please consider that this program will not be beneficial, and may even be counterproductive, for those experiencing:
- severe panic attacks or severe, debilitating anxiety
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, or
- other severe mental health conditions including but not limited to severe depression, active suicidality or self-harming behaviors, eating disorders, and active symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
If you are struggling from these conditions, help from a qualified mental health professional can be found via the Anxiety and Depression Association of America’s therapist directory or the American Psychological Association’s directory.
+ Is Anxiety to Zen therapy?
No.
Anxiety to Zen provides education and the opportunity to ask questions and get clarification. It also provides support through five weekly Group Coaching sessions, Office Hours, and Accountability Pods (all as described above).
But, this program does not allow for the development of, or constitute the beginning of, a therapeutic relationship with Dr. King. It further does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of any medical or mental disorders and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease. Further, this program is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, psychoanalysis, medical treatment, substance abuse treatment, or the advice or services of a medical professional.
+ When I enroll in Anxiety to Zen will I get access to all of the lessons immediately?

Learning and practicing the very lessons I’m going to teach you in Anxiety to Zen have changed my life and the lives of so many of my clients. It is truly my honor and privilege to guide them in the process of learning, practicing, growing, and thriving, and to see them blow the doors off what they thought was possible in their lives.
I want you to start the process of this transformation too. I want you to begin to know how it feels to understand why you feel anxious, confidently believe you can handle it, and then, in that very moment, know what to do about it.
For you, I want calm, confident, strength, as well as the openness and freedom that comes from being able to take deep breaths.
